Jealousy Fire
There's a dagger concealed on her. Beryl, young and far more innocent than many of her counterparts, is no longer so innocent. Thanks to the nexus, the idea's finally been put in her head that the princess is not to be trusted, the princess is dangerous, the princess is the one thing standing between Beryl and a certain prince. There are shitennou who have told her Princess-sama should die.
Maybe she should. It would stop the prince's growing softness for the arrogant Moon Kingdom. The Earth Kingdom would no longer become just some subject vassal state as everyone is afraid they will if the two marry. And Endymion, surely Endymion would turn to her, Beryl, if the princess were gone. Which of those is most important to her, she may not know herself.
Crash! Another plate dropped. She's been nervous and jumpy all day, still far more a confused girl than the cold and diabolical priestess of Metalia some Beryls have become. She hastily sweeps up the shattered fragments, and meekly accepts a scolding from one of the cooks; she deserves it, after all. And she can't let the cook keep her too long anyway.
Once she finally has a chance to escape, she stays in the hallway a long time, back leaning against the wall as she catches her breath. Then she heads towards the stairs, which lead up towards the moon princess' visiting chambers.
(ooc: thwarted assassination attempts are go. each subthread will be considered an interruption that prevents her from going to carry out her plan, and she'll finally give up by the end - at least for now. long-term, not sure yet.)
