Aino Minako, perfect double of the one Usagi's complaining about but with dark hair and in her early twenties, steps into the classroom. Well, this was unexpected. It shouldn't be, considering the nexus. She takes note of the peaceful school scene, Usagi and Ami present, the mention of herself (oops), and concludes everything is alright here. She flashes Usagi a grin.

"Good afternoon, Usagi!"

THIS IS ALL A PLOT BY ALIENS, CLEARLY!

The moment Usagi hears that voice she jumps up from her chair and points at the person entering. "Minako-chan! Where have you been?! It has been-"

Usagi stops mid-sentence as she now actually takes a look at the girl. Sure, it seems Minako, but at the same time it doesn't seem like her. She tilts her head sideways in confusion. "Did you get a haircut, Minako-chan?" And did you age at least five years? "And where did you leave Mamoru?! Don't tell me he's slacking off again!"

ABSOLUTELY! Ami and Minako are aliens after all!

"No, nothing," Minako says, doing a good job of pretending to be completely nexus-ignorant for now. "Did you make a mistake?"

Ok, so it's a pretty flimsy cover because hello different hair color and length. But she ignores the rest, and says, "I just arrived late. I'm sorry. What were you doing just now?"

"But I just sent you out with Mamoru to investigate weird things around the city, right? And your hair was still blonde when you left! And-"

Minako seems to have the ability to always make Usagi stop halfway through her sentence. Usagi's eyes narrow. "What kind of suspicious thing is going on here?" Randomly changing hair colour didn't seem really normal.

"The weirdest thing must be my hair, right?" Minako says with a good-natured smile while inwardly hoping Usagi won't decide to notice she's also grown a couple inches, filled out in the chest, and generally lost the look of a girl for the appearance of a young woman. All in five minutes.

Well, Usagi never was the brightest crayon in the box, right? But this still seems definitely suspicious to her. "What happened to you, Minako-chan?! It almost seems.. supernatural!" After all those months of fake mysteries, Usagi seems very glad to finally be on track of something again.

Minako shakes her head, still playing with Usagi a bit. She can't resist having fun while things seem peaceful, and she'll probably end up back in her world before it's a problem anyway. She'd call it a wig, but Usagi would probably try to pull it off.

"Nope, you just forgot about my hair," she insists lightly.

"Forgot?! You mean I have amnesia?! That's so cool, it's almost like a supernatural thing, right? Maybe some aliens tried to brainwash me and erased a large part of my memory!" Leave it up to Usagi to think up a complicated story for any situation.

She grins at Minako. "We just have to investigate this, Minako-chan!"

"Sure!" Minako offers. "Where do we start?" She avoids comment on the question of brainwashing and memory-erasing. It's not so far-fetched to her perspective.

"Hm, let's see.." Usagi looks like she's thinking about it, before she realises something. "But that still leaves the question where Mamoru is! I thought I had sent him out with you, but apparently I didn't, I just thought so because of the brainwashing! But where is he then..?"

Usagi frowns. This was difficult. "Was he kidnapped by aliens too?!"

She has no idea where Chiba Mamoru is. But if he's supposed to be here, and isn't, that might not be good. On the other hand, he's probably still just with this world's Minako.

And it might not be good if she's still here when they get back. "Should I go look for him?" she asks, after barely catching herself from saying 'them'.

Usagi dramatically sniffs in response. "Minako-chan, that's so great! You're really a life saver!"

She is! Minako half wishes she could see Usagi's face once the 'real' Minako returns with Mamoru in tow, as she's sure she will. But she can imagine that for herself. It's better not to cause problems being here.

"Right. I'll go, then," she says. "Goodbye, Usagi." She gives a friendly little wave, and turns to head towards the door.

Usagi also waves in response, still smiling. "See you later!" Usagi says. Then returns to her chair and to her activity of staring at the walkie talkies.
