So...now that I'm back at school it's much better than I thought it would be. I'm still in Wind Ensemble (woot!) by the SKIN OF MY TEETH. Seriously, ninth in the studio, barely at the cut-off, baby! But hey, I don't care, at least I'm still in.
There is over-much drama now. A)Only four out of 26 trumpets audtioned for Jazz. LOL. This highly amuses me. Obviously, I was not one of the four. There was a special trumpet meeting just to bitch us out about how we need to be in Jazz. I was like ummm...yeah OK. Can't stand jazz. Thank you for asking. I probably will be in it at some point, though, just becuase that's something I need to provide for my students.
B) Our grad student, Ben, once AGAIN got ridiculously high in the studio (first, actually.) TOTAL load of crap. I can think of at least six of us who are better than him. Go fig. (Not me, but others.) Oh well. The whole audition thing is a load of crap, no one's where they are supposed to be, etc. You know how it goes.
My classes so far are pretty chill. Global Perspectives looks like it'll be really fun, it's the only class I'm "excited" about. The others...meh. Classes, you know.
Tomorrow is my first day of Chemistry. PRAY FOR ME! I really think that's what will bring down my GPA this semester. Hope I'm wrong. Also tomorrow I have Religions of the World, yay! I'm really excited about that class.
