THE CRAZY ADVENTURES OF UZAMAKI NARUTO
Chapter Three:
Naruto, Simba, Timon and Pumbaa were sleeping peacefully in Naruto's bed. Timon and Pumbaa were snoring loudly, but it didn't bother Naruto or Simba that much since the two of them are wearing earplugs. Zaraki, along Yachiru were there standing over them and Yachiru said:
"Aww, isn't that cute Kenny?"
"Yeah." he then kicks Naruto out of bed, Naruto takes out his earplugs and says: "Oh, hey Zaraki-taicho."
"Get changed Naruto, breakfast'll be ready soon and after that your training begins."
"OK!" said Naruto as he quickly got changed, ate his breakfast and stretched. "Alright, here I go!" Naruto said to himself as he ran to the training field. Timon yawned and looked at Simba and Pumbaa.
"Hey fellas, I say we explore this place a little bit more, ya know." Simba looked at Timon.
"But you heard what that scary guy said, plus Naruto won't be too happy if we ran off without telling him."
Timon just smirked. "Forget about that scary jingle bell-haired man and don't worry about Naru, he'll be fine. Look let's leave a note and a trail so he can find us."
Timon grabbed a pen and a piece of paper. "How the heck do ya use this thing?!" Pumbaa grabbed it and looked at the paper. "I think like this... umm maybe...." Simba took it from Pumbaa.
"I saw Naruto write something last night. You have to use it like this...." the pen kept slipping out of Simba's hand.
"Timon, could you hold it for me." Timon took the pen and started to scribble to get the hang of it.
"Alright now let's write that note!" Timon said as he readied his hands.
***Hours later***
After that long, and grueling training, Naruto came back all sweaty and tired but he was ok. He found the note but he could barely read it seeing as how it was written by a meerkat and a lion cub.
"Damn, what the heck is this?! It looks like it was written by a meerkat and a lion cub!" he said. (Author's Note: I just said that, you baka!)
The note:
'Naruto, left to go explore the rest of Soul Society. We'll be back soon.' Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa.
After Naruto finally managed to decipher the note, he immediately realized what had happened and ran off to go find the three before they caused any trouble.
'Damn it, I gotta find them quick.' he thought as he ran.
***In another part of Soul Society***
"I hope Naruto got that note." said Simba who was a little bit worried.
"Aaah don't worry kid, I wrote it with my beautiful handwriting!" bragged Timon.
"Oh that's your handwriting? I thought you were having cramps so you couldn't write." said Pumbaa.
"What?! You making fun of my handwriting?! It was perfect! Let's see you try and--" Timon was cut off when two girls approached them.
"Well Rukia-san told me about this but I thought she was lying..." said the pink haired girl.
"Well Sakura looks like you won the bet after all." said a blond haired girl.
"You must be Naruto's friends! I'm Simba." said Simba as he approached the girls casually.
"These two are Timon and Pumbaa."
"Well they seem nice." said the blond haired girl quietly. "I'm Yamanaka Ino and this is my friend, Haruno Sakura." said Ino. Timon walked in front of the two girls and smoothed back his hair.
"Ladies ladies, no need to fear us we're good wholesome people just like you, by the way do you know where we can catch some grub? We're starving."
***In another part of Soul Society***
Naruto frantically searched for his new friends, he knew if anyone else encountered them all hell would break lose.
"Where are you guys?!?" Naruto yelled to himself.
***Again, in another part of Soul Society***
Over at a local tea house Sakura and Ino sat with Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba. The two girls watched in a bit of disgust as the three loudly and rudely ate their food.
"Not as good as beetles but I'll take it!" said Pumbaa happily as he munched on his meal.
"Heh heh, well I'm glad you like it..." said Sakura, who was a little embarrassed by their manners.
"Thanks for buying us lunch ladies, I really wish we could pay you back." said Timon.
"By the way what do you call these things?"
"They're called odango." answered Ino as she finished the last of hers.
"Here you can finish it by drinking some nice tea." Ino poured some tea in a bowl and handed them each one. Simba had a bit of trouble holding it but Pumbaa seemed to get the hang of it and Timon easily drank his from the cup.
"Thanks Ino babe! Say, can we get another order of those odangos, you don't mind do ya, Sakura doll?" asked Timon.
Ino and Sakura looked at each other and sighed. "Well we're going to get married to rich guys one day..." Sakura smiled and pulled out her wallet.
"Can we get another order please?"
***Later***
"Crap, I can't find them anywhere." Naruto said to himself as he leapt through the Rukon district. He was able to find Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa with Sakura and Ino.
"Found them!" he said as went over to them.
"Ah, Naruto." said Ino.
"Hey, I'm sorry if these guys caused you any trouble." Naruto said.
"Oh, they weren't any trouble at all." said Sakura.
"Guys, I gotta take you back to my squad's barracks." he told the three.
"Aaw, but we just got here!" whined Timon.
"Don't whine, let's go!" Naruto said, sternly. Timon, though sadly, along with Pumbaa and Simba go back to Squad 11's barracks. On the way, something over at Squad two catches Simba's interest and he goes over there. Once Naruto, Timon, and Pumbaa were at squad 11, Naruto noticed that Simba wasn't with them.
"Aw damn it! Timon, Pumbaa stay here! I'll go get Simba." he said as he went to go look for the lion cub.
'Simba, please don't get into any trouble.' he thought.
***In the Squad two barracks***
Simba walked through the inside of the Squad and found himself in the Captain Soi Fon's room, only he didn't know this was her room. He climbed up on her desk and sniffed through some of her paperwork and accidently spilled ink all over the important documents.
"Oh no." he said to himself. He tried to clean up the ink only to make an even bigger mess.
***Meanwhile, outside the squad***
Naruto ran into the barracks of squad two and when he got to Soi Fon's room, he saw the huge mess Simba made.
"Simba, what'd you do?! Do you know what'll happen if Soi Fon-taicho sees this?!"
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" the lion cub apologized. The two suddenly heard footsteps.
"Damn it, it's probably Soi Fon-taicho. Simba, go hide. I'll handle this." Naruto ordered Simba.
Simba did as he was told and hid under Soi Fon's desk. Naruto took the ink bottle and started smearing some the ink on his face and hands. When Soi Fon arrived and saw the mess on her desk, she was enraged.
"MY REPORT! NARUTO, WHAT THE HELL'S WRONG WITH YOU?!!?" she shouted.
"Sorry...I spilled some ink and tried cleaning it up." he told her. She grabbed Naruto by his collar and dragged him out of her room to Squad One to tell Head Captain Yamamoto.
"You've done it this time, Uzamaki." she said in an angry voice.
Simba came out of hiding and saw Naruto being dragged away. "Naruto..." he said sadly.
'Why'd you do it?' he thought.
***Much later, in Squad two***
"Man this sucks!!" grumbled Naruto as he pushed the mop through the floors of the Squad 2 barracks.
"It wasn't my fault anyways, why isn't he being punished too!?!?!?"
"Maybe because you took full responsibility for what he did." said a voice behind Naruto. Sakura stood holding her shoes in her hands making sure not to get dirt on the newly mopped floor.
"Well still..." grumbled Naruto.
"Here, this might help you get some of your strength back." Sakura handed Naruto a bag of candy she got from the world of the living.
"You're so kind, Sakura!" Naruto said, nearly on the brink of tears.
"Hey don't sweat it Naruto. I'll clean up my own room okay, but are you sure I can't help you out?" asked Sakura.
"Nah besides you have another mission coming up and you need to save all of your strength." Sakura stood a little stiffly and gave Naruto a tiny glare.
"What's wrong Sakura?" asked Naruto.
"Haven't you noticed? I got my hair cut today, doesn't it look nice on me?" Naruto forgot how girls could get.
"Of course Sakura, but you're always pretty so I guess I couldn't tell." Sakura blushed slightly and tilted her head.
"I'm just being selfish, don't worry about it. Well I came here to get prepared for my mission. See ya around Naruto and try to stay out of trouble." Sakura quickly, but carefully skipped towards her room making sure not to slip on the floor. Naruto looked at Sakura and stared in a daze.
'Sakura's so pretty....' Naruto was cut from his day dreaming when some other members of squad two barged in and started to get mud on the floor on purpose.
"HEY! WHAT THE HELL?!? LOOK WHAT YOU DID, YOU JERKS!" Naruto shouted angerly. The men looked back and smirked snootily.
"Oooooooh soo sorry Uzumaki." one of the guys sneered.
"Hey, you missed a spot kid!" laughed the other guy as they walked away. Naruto held on tightly to the mop and growled.
"Damn those guys..."
"What a bunch of jerks." said Simba as he walked in the barracks. Naruto stared down at Simba and got an idea in his head.
"Hey Simba, wanna help a pal out?" Naruto smiled.
"Umm, sure how?" asked Simba curiously as Naruto smirked.
"Here stick out your paws!" Naruto took four wet scrub brushes and tied them to the end of his paws.
"Now just start running and sliding okay." Naruto praised himself for being so smart. Simba nodded and began running, the floors were starting to get clean again.
"Hey, it actually worked." said Naruto quietly to himself.
Finally after mopping the floors of the Squad two barracks, Naruto said to Simba.
"C'mon, it's off to squad three..." Simba looked up at Naruto in shock.
"What?! More cleaning!??! UUUGH!" Simba flopped over. "I'm tired Naruto..."
"Yeah me too..." Naruto looked around and grinned.
"Well I have another method of getting this crap done..."
Naruto grinned widely at Simba and started to giggle. "What other method is there?" asked Simba with a curious eye.
"Just watch!" Naruto began doing the hand signs and shouted. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!!"
To Simba's amazement a bunch of Naruto's appeared with wide grins on their face. "How did you--Are you a witch doctor?!" Simba was so confused and yet amazed at Naruto's ability.
"No I'm just me!" Naruto turned towards his clones and said: "Alright gang we have a huge job to do and me and Simba alone won't cut it so you guys need to--"
"I hate working!" one clone complained.
"Yeah, me too!" said another.
"Yeah this sucks!" said a couple more. This was getting out of hand real fast! Naruto had to think of something.
"Hey hey hey!!!! If we get done in time we can go get some ramen!!!" The complaining stopped; all the clones began to cheer as they picked up the other mops, brooms, and other cleaning equipment.
"Let's go guys!" All the clones rushed off to the other barracks. All except five who stayed behind.
"Let's help finish this barracks while the others do the others." It was finally the end of the day when all the barracks were cleaned and scrubbed to tip top shape. Naruto and Simba slumped over in exhaustion.
"Raaaameeen..." moaned Naruto.
"Buuuugs....." moaned Simba to Naruto's disgust.
"You did good, Uzumaki." said a deep voice from behind. Naruto and Simba turned to see Captain Zaraki smiling at them with his arms crossed.
"Hey taicho! I'm starving, can I get something to eat?" asked Naruto, picturing his mother with a steamy bowl of ramen just waiting for him. Shinigami or not, Kushina always put her motherly duties first.
Zaraki smirked to himself and rubbed the back of his neck "Sure, why not. Get going, both of you." Naruto and Simba were about to run when suddenly another visitor came in with a very angry expression.
"Stop right there!" yelled Soi Fon as she ran up to the boy and lion cub.
"Soi fon-taicho, what's wrong?!" Naruto asked nervously. How Sakura got along with her was beyond him.
"I found out who really messed up my report!" Naruto glanced nervously at Simba.
"What are you yelling about now?" asked Zaraki tiredly.
"I mean the report I made was ruined and I found pawprints at the scene! And that lion cub has the same pawprints so he's the one who messed it up!" Soi Fon was fuming but Naruto couldn't let her punish him.
"Alright, but I had to take the blame...I didn't want him to get in trouble." Naruto explained. Soi Fon was beyond pissed, however, the 12 year old brat was full of spirit and was not afraid to protect his friends. Soi fon had to admit, he was truly an inspiration. But she had to remain tough.
"Fine.. I'll go easy on him but he still needs to be punished." Naruto sighed a relief.
"Is it alright if I help Simba out, Soi Fon-taicho?" Soi Fon shook her head and sighed. "Alright Uzumaki. You can help him."
"Thanks, Soi fon-taicho." said Naruto.
***Nighttime, at Squad 11's Barracks***
After Simba's punishment, he and Naruto were sitting up in a tree. "Thanks for today, Naruto." said Simba.
"No problem, Simba." said Naruto.
"That woman with the braids was scary." Simba said, remembering how angry Soi Fon was today.
"Yeah, Soi Fon-taicho can be scary sometimes." Naruto agreed.
"Naruto." said Simba.
"Yeah?"
"We're friends, right?"
"Right."
"And we'll always be together, right?" Simba asked when he held his right paw up. Naruto puts his left hand to Simba's paw and then said: "Always."
