Yesterday was my cousin's wedding and it was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. The got married on Higgin's Beach and the bridesmaids/Men of Honor wore no shoes. The same with the bride and groom. They are the cutest couple I have ever seen. They composed their vows of letters written to each other when Lee lived in New York City and Abbie (cousin) lived in Boston. Their reception was at my aunts and uncle's house. It was beautiful. They relandscaped their entire backyard and there were flowers. Everything was a fun time, and you can just tell they are soul mates.
I've decided I want my wedding excatly like that. It was all about the beauitful things in life, laughter, love and family. Maybe someday I can find my soul mate...wherever he may be.
I'm only 17 so I guess I still have a little bit longer to look, hm?
I cried the entire ceremony. My dad looks at me and goes,"charlene this is suppose to be a happy thing". I told him that I knew that, but I was so happy for them. It seemed to be perfect.
My gram is making them an autographed quilt instead of a guestbook. The fucking coolest idea ever. I can't wait to see what it looks like.
