Long entry...
Lets see...Yesterday.
It was a very long and tiring day. I'm still not used to having classes after lunch. I liked having back to back classes in the morning like I used to last semester. I finished early and I didn't have to go through the drowsy feeling you get after eating and sitting down in a nice cold room. lol My books are still too heavy to carry, but I manage.
My government class is a bit different than what I thought it was going to be. I thought there was going to be more of a note taking person where the teacher emphasizes certain points and summarizes it from the reading. This professor just basically covers what's on the book. Kind of hard to copy all of that. Or maybe it's just the way he goes on about. I think his method is more of explaining...I dunno. -Shrugs-
Eh. I think that kid is finally aware that we are under the same school, let alone the same class. -Twitches-
After government class, I finally checked the whole Financial folder deal and everything is in shape. My transcript is still not updated on UOnline, but the official is. After that I applied for two more jobs. Vane explained to me about the whole "Need" and "Non-Need" based thing. It turns out "Need" messes up with your Financial Aid. Eh. I guess I'm better off with a "Non Need" I'd rather stay with the money.
Lunch...was weird. I felt watched. And it wasn't just that normal, "I think I'm being watched." feeling. It was more of "I KNOW the people that are looking. =/" Man, too many people that make me feel uncomfortable in one single space. -_-;
Throughout most of the day I was feeling tired. Especially after Anatomy where I almost fell asleep. World Civ is alright. Dr.D makes it funny at times. lol Got home and I fell asleep for probably two hours. Felt kind of sick but still managed to do some exercises. Came back home and I started reading three sections of The Epic of Gilgamesh. It wasn't too bad, but I would doze off in between. When I was done and was ready to get online, I couldn't. There was no signal and it almost happens at the exact same time. In the wise words of Dr.Y "It's one common effort to make my life miserable." I wanted to get on while I was reading, but I knew if I did, I was never going to finish. lol
Today was a drag too. Haha. But it seemed a whole lot shorter than yesterday. World Literature gets a bit boring at times, but it's nothing too terrible. It's fun how Anthropology, World Civ, and World Lit all tie up neatly. In all three classes we have covered what a civilization is. Haha.
Hm. The uni brought different restaurants and set them up to serve us food at the Student Center Rotunda (?)for Welcome Week. I got full. XD There was Chick-Fil-A nuggets, Burger King salads, El Rancho, Halloway's Bakery, this other bakery, Embassy Suites chefs, our chefs xD;, Sonic (MEDIUM) sized Cherry Lime-Aid (For everyone), Hungry Howie's Pizza, Papa John's, Dairy Queen (?), and uh...lots others. The whole place was packed. And I was the only idiot who bought lunch. lol I ended up giving it to Steve because I was full from eating at the Student center. Besides, I had to eat fast and leave for lab.
I guess we are going to dissect stuff in Anatomy lab. But for now we did three activities that took us about three hours to complete. That class is closed to four hours. Being able to sit for four hours straight is something I can't manage. I hurried up through the activities and still managed to stay 3 1/2 hours. Eh. -_-; They were easy but progressively got confusing. Everyone was getting antsy. lol
In the morning before my Anthro class I got a call on my phone and I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. Sometimes my dad likes to give out my number where people can reach him. I don't know why. I come home today and saw the caller I.D. and the school was trying to reach me. lol I got an interview for tomorrow. I guess I am not going to be called for an interview for the previous one because this one is in the Business Dept. Everyone wish me luck. I hope I get the job. =/ I desperately need it.
I'm nervous as to how interviews go or what am I suppose to say. But hopefully everything goes right. I really want that job more than anything. lol
