Pros of living in the new apartment:
1) No mold.
2) So far, few ants.
3) Close to everything I need (bank, convenience store, dry cleaners, grocery store).
4) Bright and sunny.
5) Lots of space.
6) Pretty tolerant neighbors.
7) Dishwasher.
Cons of living in the new apartment:
1) Can never cross the street for fear of dying.
2) Rent's a bit high.
Also, I can feel my mind forgetting already. But I need to remember that time in the hospital, after they cut a slit in my side and stuck a tube in me to drain my lungs, that time when I woke up after the painkillers wore out and felt pain to the utmost. Where, honestly, I was willing to trade so much for it to go away. Where I was screaming and swearing. Because I need to remember how frightening my body is and how precious not just life, but well being is.
