Cake Lion

Because ALL lions love cake deep down.

So, today was quite unadventurous. However, yesterday was more exciting.

Visiting the zoo + feeding Moses and Mango some treats + going to Canters for an early celebration of St Patty's Day (yummy corned beef and cabbage) + shopping at Ross's for some new duds = a happy Stefanie

On an unrelated note, I wish apple skin didn't give me the heeby-jeebies bc I really like organic apples, and I know most of the nutrients are in the skin... but it's like nails on a chalkboard... I can't bite into an apple without getting goosebumps and wanting to throw the apple as far away as possible from me. Thank goodness for vegetable peelers!

Maybe it's the wax.

Maybe it's the evil witches with poisoned apples.

Maybe it's all those razors hidden in halloween apple (which who in their right mind gives apples on Halloween? That gives me an idea. I'm going to give children packets of Splenda next Halloween. Oh the joys of brain damage.)

And don't even get me started on peach skin. Does anyone else's mouth get itchy if they eat peach skin?

And now "Things you probably didn't know" brought to you by the book "The Healthy Mind"
1. Only a quarter of people with HSV-2 (or genital herpes) ever show symptoms (aka bumps or lesions)
2. Herpes has been shown to have long-lasting learning and behavior effects on baby mice, so do other viruses. Thus, the idea that viruses may cause some mental illnesses.
3. People who are sensitive to mild of stressors have been shown to have overly responsive hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal systems. These same people are more likely to be depressed, have panic disorders, and are more likely to become drug-addicts.

And to end it all, I quote from Pollyanna: "She had been too busy wishing things were different to find much time enjoying things as the were."
