Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner

So.

Um.

UM.

This week's episode wasn't as amazing as last week's, I think, but I loved it anyway. Not so much for how "everything" (that is, the Big Mystery) happened (because it wasn't that kind of episode), but because of everything it's promising. I'll get to that - first, though, MotW.

And, oh. My. Goodness. That girl? Grace? Can I just... How can people like Meg's parents exist? How very V. C. Andrews of Rob to throw that in - though I wish people would stop being so quick to always make such parents "Christians." I know there are some people who hide their so-obviously-fake faith to do horrible things, but.... I don't know *any* Christians who are like that to even the fraction-of-a-decimal-decimal-nth degree. Yet so many people tie the Catholic church to pedophile priests, and Christians to abusively strict parents and/or completely hypocritical people. And, so shutting up now before I start on this. I get *annoyed* when people go on about this.

I was so horrified when I thought Lamb was just going to let it go - he's ignored so many things before, and he never takes what Veronica says seriously, and I just went...Oh no, he would, even as part of me kept saying even *he* couldn't let it go. And he didn't. Thank God. There are very few VM characters I hate more than Lamb (Dick being an obvious exception), but when he unlocked the handcuffs, then showed up outside the Mannings' house...I could have kissed him. Just, thank God. Because God *so* cares about VM. Yes.

Okay, now the other stuff... Well. Duncan didn't sleep with Kendall. Duh. Duh! Anyone thinking clearly (*cough* probably not the more...fanatically devoted...of "LoVe"ers, and won't I have fun rolling my eyes at their spin on this later?) knows Duncan wouldn't cheat on Veronica, and especially not with Kendall Slut-Bag Casablancas. I suppose they'll be playing on this to throw Veronica and Logan back together-ish, though? I hope not. It'd just be...stupid. Not quite (what if) Duncan-and-Veronica-really-were-half-siblings stupid, but...getting there. But the Meg/Duncan thing is looking...interesting. Meg is really not in my favourites book after her thirteen-year-old behaviour in the season premiere, but generally she's nice, and I *could* see S1-esque Meg with Duncan. A couple seasons post-V/D breakup. (Btw: what is *with* the influx of Meg/Logan stories? Really. There could not *possibly* be a more mismatched pair - it's abusing "opposites attract"! Just because Meg gets sarcastic... *rolls eyes*)

The preview for next week was just *not* fair. Can we fastforward to next Wednesday? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease? It looks really, really good *bounces in anticipation*

Um...quick notes:

Dick is getting to be an even bigger idiot/jerk with every episode. Someone, please, kill him. And if you could do something about the *insane* fangirls...?

Gia is just...scary. Even scarier, I think we're supposed to eventually like her O_o

LOL @ Veronica at the slumber party. She looked ready to turn herself back over to Aaron! *dies laughing*

*What* was up with "Veronica's" kids on this episode? Those kids were beyond scary. *shudder* Who did the writers baby-sit for when they were teens?

What is going on with Gia's younger brother? And, is the dad (can't remember his name right now) that kid's step-dad? Or...what? Seriously, *what* is going on with that kid? The whole time he was on-screen, I just wanted to give him a hug.

Dear Logan,
I haven't forgotten what you did to Weevil's grandmother, and you are still in the doghouse. You are not helping your case by continuing to sleep with Kendall :\ However, good job on trying to make me ignore all that when you asked Veronica for her help. I almost forgot what a dirtbag you can be. TV makes it possible; just be glad I don't have to see you in person.

Keith: The Best Dad Award is *so* yours. We <3 you.

Wallace: ...I'M BEGGING!!
