No, no post tonight | instead, sort of a writing-in-general update with bonus life things and memes

# Thursdays are no man's land for posting. After the long day of classes and a midterm today, but especially when every time I look at the next post with its dense answers of denseness, I click open a new fanfic elsewhere. So--no post tonight. Hopefully it'll be up by tomorrow night. *kicks it*

# Some day I will learn how to write standalone stories. I will, just watch. I will be able to write a single story, with one cast of characters, and then stop, and move on to the next one. (And possibly I will be a little lonely if the characters actually learn to move out; but I will live and possibly keep my sanity.) Until then, I am stuck with all the ~*possibilites*~ of the FaIC/IYC 'verse, and backstory with Traest and How The AU Happened, and futurestory with J/Z being amusingly not-domestic and bantering and all that. Gah.

# My FaIC/IYC playlist now has 106 songs on it. Kyp/Sanar has 101. That's pretty much how I know that my muse is going to be stubborn. Like the stubborn crazy thing that it is. Oh, 'verse, why too much fun? And J/Z, really, I'm not a teenager anymore--why so OTP? Besides the banter and the saving each other and the issues and oh right shutting up now.

# But I do promise that after this, fanfic is a side project. Most of my ideas now are self-contained (or at least, single-post) stories, so I'll be able to write them on the side and as a break from my usual Epics Of Epicness: Now In Publishable (If Very Draft-y) Form. I think TC&M is ready to start behaving; I've actually managed to write about 3 chapters worth, if in a rather all-over-the-place manner.

# eck, ack. I am listening to the Lord of the Rings: Complete Recordings (soundtracks)--as in, all the instrumentals evar of LOTR movies, and they are very pretty, and I do like them, but that is a *lot* of instrumentals for a girl addicted to pairing up fic/pairings/characters with music, I'm telling you. But the Rohan music is <3

# Apparently, my poli sci research paper is now optional. Which is--either awesome, or I'm going to write it *anyway*, because who am I kidding? My strong point: writing. Not so much (for me): the tests that would suddenly become 80% of my grade. But I will be showing ~effort~ and ~excellent studentship~, or something.

# Oh also, I have an interview for That Summer Job.

& brought to you from...someone's blog. (I've been reading a lot of fanfic lately :P)

Comment with a story I've written, and I will tell you something about the story that didn't make it onto the page.
