Tiburon update

I just called the vet to inquire about Tiburon and he is doing well. His surgery went fine as did his micro chipping. The cat scratch to his eye is nothing to worry about, apparently it is just a minor one. We can go get him as soon as James gets home from work, which James just called and he is on his way home now

I'm glad he's doing okay and his eye is fine! Yay! My friend's ferret got scratched in the eye by her cat and the poor dear's cornea opened up and it was a huge painful injury...she still has a cloudy scared eye from it. Sometimes the inuries are so nasty that we have to surgically suture the third eyelid up over the cornea for a few weeks to protect it and let the hole heal. It's disgusting!

oh my that sounds horrible! Poor ferret baby! I hope this will never happen again, but knowing Tiburon as I do now, he might need the lesson a time or two again (just minus the eye scratch) He wants to play with EVERYONE. Soon as his stitches are out, I am taking him to puppy socialization classes.
