Thankyou for standing behind me on the college thing! BUt ash, the bible was translated again and again and AGAIN frm other launguages, what one word means to us could be a whole different word to them... we cant take the bible literally, however it is a good book to set your morals by.. its has very good reasonings and meaning to it.. but you just cant take it so literally

i personally think you can take alot of the bible literally. it specifically says that homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of God. but still.. he loves us all no matter what.

If he lives us all no matter what, then how can one lifetime of "mistakes" (i put the quotations for homosexuals) be sent for an eternity of hell, if there is unconditionsla love, if we can never be separated from god, how can we be punnished for an eternity for mistakes that we made in just one life time... The problem is that everyone is taking the bible to litterally, yes there are letters in the bible from people that you could take litteraly, however, even is it "is the word of god".. god didnt WRITE it and send it down from heaven, no, MEN wrote it.. even if it was "gods words" its still in the words of men... there are so many factors that you ahve to consider when your reading the bible that you dont, the bible was NOT written in english, the bible was written be men, those are both true factors, no matter what you say.

God will never seperate us from him, but we make a choice. you can choose to follow him and believe that his word is true or you cant. are you saying that the whole bible is just people making things up about a so called faith? to me thats bs.

no im not sayin that the bible is just people making things up.. if you listened to anything that i wrote before you would know that i think that the bible is a very good book, with gret morals, and hey you know its great to read it, and take it into consideration... there is no point in having this convo with you, becouse you are now a fundementalist christian and everything i say will be BS to you, there is nothing you can say to change my mind, and there is nothin that i can say to change your mind
