To the boys who were scribbling horribly mean things in the bible today during biochem,

Oct 10, 2007 12:23

I understand that you are open to your own thoughts and your own opinions but you would be equally insulted if somebody drew horrible things all over them too. I expressed my disappointment and told you I was offended yet you continued to draw and scribble and color on a book that some people consider holy, their lifeline. THEN you got upset when I took the bible away. I couldn't stand to let you do that anymore, it's disrespectful, its unjust, its rude. It doesn't matter if you're not a Jesus fan, it doesn't even matter if I'M  Jesus fan; what matters is that you took something that sacred and defiled it for your amusement, even after I asked you to stop. Can't you find a crossword? I'm deeply insulted that you did those things and even more so that you completely ignored my request for you to stop. It's a free country, I understand but c'mon...I was just asking for consideration. You made me uncomfortable, you made me angry. I wouldn't do that to the Qua'ran, and something deep down tells me you wouldn't either so why would you do that to the Bible? When the guy in the blue blazer asked you if you wanted a copy of the New Testament, you could have said no, you could of held up your hand and said "sorry dude, not for me" but you took it anyway. Please be respectful in the future...

and with all due respect...did you even read any of it?

...its a pretty decent book...
