EW posted "26 Great TV Shows That Got a Quick Hook" and of course
Moonlight is included.
"CBS's Friday night vampire romp came just one year before the Twilight craze really sunk its fangs into America. Had Moonlight come just 12 months later, would viewers have devoured it? (And, subsequently, CBS, too?) No one can know for sure. But it's a pretty good bet it might still be around."
I was actually just thinking about the whole new vampire craze thing and how maybe Moonlight would have had a better chance. Obviously, Twilight is huge but HBO also has "True Blood" which is pretty popular. There is definitely a new appeal to vampires. What do you guys think? Do you think CBS is kicking themselves for canceling the show right before the vampire obsession hit? Do you think it really would have made a difference if Moonlight aired later?
