according to the user comment below, it's recommended that you see the original japanese one instead due to "the terrible acting by Shannyn Sossamon, Azura Skye".
Granted, they do say that it's worth renting when it comes out on DVD.
It comes out in theatres on January 4th. I might go see it, just for Shannyn (even if they do think her acting's bad, I mean, Moonlight's one of the campiest shows I watch).
Any opinions?
I personally think that the American remakes of Japanese horror films never get up to the same bar that the originals did. The Japanese know how to do that creepy 'what you don't know will hurt you' thing.
