This had so many little beautiful, insightful or amusing moments, like Arthur's penguin pyjamas, or Arthur thinking all that in your face flirtation underscored with innate decency or what Arthur whispers to Eames after wiping the lipstick off his face.

I love how deeply Arthur inhabits Yuria; that was unexpected (fanon tends to give Eames all the imagination and talent in that regard) and it was cool narratively how you put us in Arthur's head as Yuria kissing Eames, and then the jolt of returning to himself. And then the whole scene in the car, with the tension and the uncertainty, ending with such lovely tenderness. This was so realistic with the tension and drama of the breakaway (in both senses), and I loved how deeply and understatedly romantic it was. Thanks for sharing!

That was so cool! Is it mean of me that I mourned the suits Arthur had to leave behind even though we get penguin pajamas? :) I particularly loved Arthur inhabiting Yuria so completely and both of them being so quietly competent in the face of running for their lives at four in the morning, that's such a hot kink for me. And Arthur in drag, what can I say - a lovely image even if Yuria is not the most tasteful of dressers. Thank you very much for my fic, it was wonderful!

I am SO PLEASED that you enjoyed it. I was a little worried that it wasn't as Eames-centric as you might like (I started a different work in Eames POV but his mind was all Arthur Arthur Arthur!) and then the schmoop threatened to overwhelm the BAMF. Glad the final version worked.

I'm sure that Arthur didn't take his favorite suits to Transnistria. It's possible that Tomas (or Eames) paid a maid to pack them all up and ship them back to him.

Of course, it's also possible that Eames is a hear-sick paranoid lunatic and Seva was actually hooking Arthur up with some potential clients and our guys made a daring escape from no danger whatsoever (which didn't occur to me until after I posted, just to be clear). Do you think they would care?
