“Where are we going? Are you going to kidnap me?! Oh God!”
It was happened after the last class finished. When Sungmin was going to go home, she suddenly was grabbed from behind and was dragged into a mysterious car. She tried to scream, but a hand covering her mouth prevented her to make any sound. When she tried to struggle, some too familiar voices asked her to be quiet. She sighed desperately when she realized who her kidnapers were -Zhou Mi, Eunhyuk, and Kyuhyun of course--. Now she could only sit helplessly in the car, which was heading to only God knew where.
“Here we are!” Zhou Mi exclaimed happily, then he turned to face Kyuhyun. “Hey, me and Hyuk will join the others.”
Kyuhyun only nodded. Sungmin had barely enough time to protest when Kyuhyun suddenly dragged her outta car. Without saying a word, Kyuhyun lead her into one of the stalls in that area.
“Where are we?”
“This was my favorite ice cream stall when I was in junior high school. Geez, how I miss this place.”
“Uh?” Sungmin tilted her head, confused. “So, why are we here?”
“I wanna treat you their ice cream. It’s the best.”
“Wait…” Sungmin stopped from following Kyuhyun, made Kyuhyun stopped in his track too. “You kidnapped me and scared the hell outta me just because you want to treat me a bowl of ice cream?! For the God sake, Kyuhyun, can’t you act normal at least once?”
Kyuhyun just shrugged, “I’m sure you would decline me if I offer you to go with me, right?”
Sungmin raised her eyebrows, “I think we’ll never know, since you never ask me properly.”
Not far from that place, six other guys were busy eating ice cream while watching those two bickering and eating together at the same time.
“I would never expect Kyuhyun would fall for such kind of girl. So many girls threw themselves to Kyuhyun, begged to be loved, but he just ignored them,” Kangin commented.
Eunhyuk shrugged, “Maybe he wants a different type of girl, like Sungmin. A girl who wouldn’t kneel down in front of him.”
“And how ‘bout you, Hyuk? I know you want a different person beside you too,” Donghae teased him, made Eunhyuk blushed -that his friends not sure whether it’s because he’s angry or embarrassed--.
“But not a psycho like you, Hae…”
“Aww…. Come on Hyuk,” Donghae was continuing his tease, made Eunhyuk redder than before.
“Shut up, Hae!”
And there they were. It’s about two weeks since Kyuhyun ‘kidnapped’ Sungmin, and surprisingly, it has been their habit to buy ice cream after school, every day. Sometimes Kyuhyun’s friends just thought that their relationship was so funny. Sungmin never decline Kyuhyun’s offer to eat ice cream with him every time the school over. Yet, they still bickering over silly things, and Sungmin still acted like Kyuhyun was the most disturbing thing in her life. Just like that afternoon…
“Let’s buy ice cream!”
“Again? We already bought it for eight days in a row!” Sungmin sounded so irritated now.
“I didn’t ask you out in Saturday and Monday,” Kyuhyun pouted -something that every human being in this planet wouldn’t see regularly--.
“And I thank God because of that. I have my own business, Kyu….”
“What? With that Choi boy again?” He growled. His voice sounded dangerously low.
“Umm… no. what’s wrong with you? There’s no reason to hate Siwon, you know. He’s a loving boy… maybe he wouldn’t get along with you well because you both are different, but… he won’t cause any harm.”
Kyuhyun glared at Sungmin, made that girl a little bit uneasy, “Yeah whatever, I don’t care.”
Sungmin just shrugged her shoulders, then starting to walk away. At least, that was her intention, before Kyuhyun suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her back to her place.
“Hey!” Sungmin started to protest. “Really Kyu… I’m going to late!”
“Just… where the hell are you going?”
“You said that you don’t care!”
“I don’t care about that Choi boy, not you!”
Sungmin sighed. Really, being with Kyuhyun gave her a heavy headache. “I have to go home, someone is waiting for me… to tutor me.”
And… there’s a guy from university too. One of her ex-boyfriends, what’s his name again? Ah, Leeteuk. He is still tutoring her now, once a week. Zhou Mi’s words some weeks ago suddenly rang back in his ears, made Kyuhyun stood still. How if… how if…
“I’ll go with you!”
“What??!!! But…”
“No ‘but’, let’s go!”
Kyuhyun was eyeing Leeteuk suspiciously, from head to toe. His fierce gaze made the older male flinched. At that time, Kyuhyun just looked like a hawk that ready to tear its prey into pieces.
“Umm… okay, well… Sungmin, let’s start it with our problem last week. Have you done it?” Leeteuk tried to start the tutoring session although they’re in a so pitifully awkward situation.
“yeah… most of it. But I get lost in some part, oppa. Explain to me, okay? I really hopeless in this subject without you oppa,” Sungmin sighed desperately, while Leeteuk only released his awkward laugh, not his lovingly high pitched laugh like usual.
Kyuhyun scrunched his nose. Oppa? They already broke up and those two seemed still lovey-dovey around each other! But the more Kyuhyun tried to buy the thought, the angrier he got. She always has a good relationship with her ex. Zhou Mi’s voice rang again in his ears. Yeah right, even now, Sungmin still in the best term with her other ex -Kyuhyun’s classmate that he hated the most--, Choi Siwon.
Kyuhyun studied Leeteuk’s features. The man had a soft and rather feminine face, which reminded Kyuhyun of Heechul -another friend of Sungmin who had feminine feature but snarky mouth--. Did Sungmin really fond of a beautiful man? But Siwon wasn’t beautiful. Siwon could be categorized as a handsome man, although Kyuhyun hated to admit it. Okay, back to Leeteuk. He had nice eyes and dimples smile. But it seemed that he could be a strict person whenever he wanted. Just a type of guy that Sungmin would like.
