What is the greatest movie ever?
Diary of a Mad Black Movie.
So I went to see Diary of a Mad Black Woman with my sister last night. At first I thought that it was going to be kind of weak, because my cousin had told me about the play earlier in the day, and it just did not sound appealing. Why was every single elementary, junior high, and high school at this particular movie theatre last night? They were all over the place with their bagy pants, afros, mini skirts, cell phones, flip flops, and school t-shirts. Eventually, after attempting unsucessfuly to get ice cream at marble slab, we walked into our particular theatre and it was ridiculous. IT was so small! There were about ten seats all together. People had to practically sit on top of each other. I guess they had to give the huge theatre to the crowd that we saw waiting in line to see Ice Princess. They must know something that we don't know about that movie. Anyways, I ended up loving this movie a whole lot. The movie is insightful, yet at the same time it is funny as hell! I was so angry by the end of the movie, which I suppose was the desired effect. I was angry about what happened to the main character, but I was mostly angry because I know that things like that really do happen to women. Even though some poeple thought that she went over the top, I think that her revenge was appropriate. I would have done a hell of a lot more. IF you have not seen this movie yet....Go out and see it! IT will make you laugh, cry, and think. I'm starting to sound like a commercial...
