I don’t know if any other cities got this e-mail rumor, but Orlando did. It basically stated that the gas stations across Florida were going to shut down for four days. Of course it was just a hoax, but lots of people believed it. So yesterday across Orlando (I’m not sure about other cities in Florida) there were gas lines and gas stations. This morning I past several gas stations that were completely out, and most of the ones that had any gas left-it was mostly premium the cheapest gas going first-had gas lines. Or at least were fairly busy. Busier than I have seen in a long time. I haven’t seen gas stations this busy since we got hit with the hurricanes last year.
I past at least 4 gas stations that had cars lined up almost to the road waiting for gas. I was lucky enough o find one that didn’t have a long wait. But it only had premium gas left. *ugh* I want to find the jerk who started this rumor and skin him alive.
