BOO!!
So, here I am, sitting in a completely empty sports arena waitng for haunted house gig to be OVER!! I have to be here 'til midnight tonight. Hopefully, I'll be able to get home OK. I think the busses and stuff still run until 1 or so *checks the schedule* Yep... Still kinda not looking forward to it. Oh well, such is life, I guess. It's just creepy to be in here--all alone in the dark quiet arena--and then suddenly hear this swish swish swish smacking sound. I came out the other night and realized that there was hockey practice going on. Freaked the CRAP out of me!! And there's this kid in the haunted house place that likes to follow me around and try to scare me. I realize it's his job but, come on!! I'm clearly WORKING, not one of the squealy teenagers running around...Sheesh!!
And FYI--the skin on my face has been replaced with a baby's butt. No, not rashy and moist. But seriously, it's the softest thing I've ever felt. I can't stop touching it. I got a little facial thingy at the Philosphy counter at Nordstrom's, and I am a HAPPY GIRL!! Nothing like clean, smooth, soft skin...and being fawned over by the ladies there didn't hurt either, especially when they say things like "we could use this, but I wouldn't sell it to you. You don't need it, your skin is flawless. I'm jealous!" It always feels good to have people tell you what beautiful skin you have. *beams* OK, I'll stop... It just is nice to feel good about myself again, what with the losing 25 pounds since June and good skin and freshly waxed brows and all that stuff...I feel great, and I'm not ashamed to admit it!
