I really want to take this class, but so far it isn't filling up. I only have one other student on the roster, and if it's just me and her I'll have to cancel this class. So, who's down? Come on... get those ol' creative juices flowing!

Recycle your soda and coffee cans to study the 19th Centruy "tin knockers" craft! This class is designed for all levels, no previous experience is necessary. You will learn pattern making, layout, proper use of tools and instructions to bead, peirce, punch, solder and rivet your tinware. You will leave the class with beautiful 3 dimensional works of art to hang on your wall or display on shelves or coffetables. A must try! Materials needed: soda cans, coffee cans, colorful cookie or candy tins, or any other tin item you have around your home. The registration fee includes a membership to the Arts and Crafts Center for the entire summer (5/14/07-6/22/07 and 7/2/07-8/10/07) excluding break week and closed holidays).
