*sigh* Hmmm

It is official- the laptop hard drive is the dying culprit in why my lappy has had problems. Lucky I have the netbook.
Other news, I will most likely have a new car by the end of the month. Next paycheck should have a bonus thingie on it that will allow a fair down payment so starting next week comes my visits to dealerships.
Finally, my nephew just informed me that he is moving out around the end of the month. Which brings me to a sticky situation. See, maybe yall remember that the guy I keep referring to as my brother is actually my ex bro inlaw that has allowed me to rent a room after my sister ran off and divorced him. I have known him since I was 6 or 7 years old. Now I admit to being quite fuzzy on the subject but I don't want to find myself in a common law marriage so I will have to leave within 6 months of my nephew leaving. Not that he isn't a good man but there is an "ewww incest" feeling even if I am not really blood related. Yes, it is a common family reaction to such things. But I won't tell how I know- just take my word for it. Anyway, I may be forced into some things like a second job and not so good place to live. Should think of ways to prevent theft even in a place that is likely to be broken into. I will still need the car because the bus here is terribly slow and also, if I have to return to Alabama or maybe go live with my friend in Arizona (she has asked in the past) I can be sure of being able to get there. I rather not because I do like Houston. Plus one can live in a car if one must. Again something I rather avoid.

Which brings me to a question I sometimes have asked in the past but comes terribly relavent in light of impending moves. Be honest and please give a reason for your suggestion as this is important to me. I need to know is who is a good internet service provider. I use the internet to stay reasonably sane and social even when offline life sucks big. It is entertainment and an occasional classroom as well as social connections. So I really consider it more a necessity than most things. Please help me out on this one. Thank you very much.
