Alright, so I took this photos with one of those disposable cameras, since I don't own a camera of my own (too poor to buy one) so some of this photos' quality really sucks. I tried fixing some of them in photoshop, but some were just too bad. Anyway, on with the show...
This was the wooly mammoth at the natural history part of the museum...see what I mean about quality ?
this was infront of the ship that you could go inside, at the museum..that's (from the left) tomoko, season and kristy..they're pretending to be pirates...we did that alot that weekend.
this was at the entance to the museum...it's one of John Lennon's cars...he had it so tricked out. :P
this was an old kitchen from the part of the museum that was built like a street from a part of a town that you could walk around in...I thought it was interesting.
this was the girls poseing in an alley way in the chinatown part of the museum.
Tomoko being attacked by the bear outside the gift shop at the museum.
Season molesting the bear outside the gift shop at the museum.
That's all for the Museum.
This was at the Wax Museum...at the entrance to the mine of the seven dwarfs was a seriously cracked out Happy.
another cracked out photo of Happy. Not a very good shot...
Kristy, Tomoko, and Season infront of a wax replica of Walt Disney...my mom says this looks like a christmas card photo..I like how this one came out.
In the chamber of Horrors, at the Wax Museum...I think this was probably the less gruesome one..ha ha...Tomoko was so freaked out through out this whole portion of the museum that she wouldn't let go of our hands...it was cute.
That's it for the Wax museum.
This was a car we saw on the way back to the Hotel, Season said it was hers, so I took a picture of her trying to be cool in front of it.
The Parlimount building during the day.
The Parlimount building at night! It was super beautiful, and our hotel was close by so we saw it every time we walked around downtown, which was a lot. All these photos don't really do justice. I think this photo may be a bit hard to see.
That's all for Victoria. The rest are either in Courtney or on the way to Courtney.
Kristy's mom wanted to take photos of us all so this is us all on the couch in Kristy's home in Courtney. This was the morning we left to go back home to Vancouver. From the left is Kristy, Tomoko, Season, and Me. Look at my beautiful bed hair :P
And here's the Knome. That's Season and Tomoko being attacked by the knome at the bottom there. This was on the way to nanimo from Courtney. It stands out side the A&W to greet you with it's glowing eyes, and David Bowie like eyemakeup. Apparantly it was original built for somebodies festival theme park thing, but I guess it went broke, and then the A&W got built there. They had tried to put a big icecream cone in it's hand to make it less creppy but I guess that didn't work, so now there is a canadian flag. At night it's especially creepy because of the glowing eyes. We saw it at night time when we going from Victoria to Courtney the night before. And that's the story of the giant knome.
This was on the way to Nanimo...It's this really old worn down boat that used to be a restaurant. Behind it was this little peice of land that jutted out in the ocean, that a group of Sea Lions were on. Apparantly it was that time of the year that they begin to come onto shore. But they were to far away to really see.
We got to the Bus Station in Nanimo, but the bus wasn't leaving for another hour or so, so we walked around the near by harbour. We got some tea and nanaimo bars and then we came across the best playground ever, where we pretended to be pirates. It would have been better if everything wasn't so wet but it was still fun.
And lastly, Season found her self a little dinosaur friend. It's hard to see but her expression is the best.
Well that's all. I know Kristy's mom had some photos, that I will ask Kristy to send to me, cause some of them were good. Like the ones we took with the statue of this guy from the 60's that called him self a pirate and had the outfit and everything. Apparantly he was mayor of Nanimo back then too. It was amusing. Well, when I get those I'll post them too of course, cause photos are fun.
