First thing this morning, and at work on a coffee break and at lunch time (didn't bother wasting the whole sodding lunch break this time, at least) I got to the front page of the French site - only to, once again, get bounced out with an 'erreur de connexion' every time I entered my email address and password.
Back home at tea time, I got 'Google Chrome cannot access this webpage' for an hour, then, finally, a new front page informing us that this two-day sale to people who'd pre-registered 'had been a massive success' and was now over.
So my chance of bagging some French tickets for the women's football are gone. What radges mo off royally is that some lucky Brits got through to the site yesterday and today and acquired some tickets, while I just got bounced out and shut out over and over again. Worse, this means that, apart from the one day at Cardiff I've got, I won't see the lady footie action at all, as the women's football isn't televised (10-minute highlights on Olympic Grandstand don't count).
Merde et merci pour rien, Eventeam.
People saying "just be glad you've already got a swimming finals session and one day of women's football" were no help.
What's more, my bloody gout has flared up again. By this afternoon it was bad enough to make driving home really uncomfortable and by 4.30 I was unable to put my whole foot on the floor. Quick phone call to the surgery to arrange a prescription of anti-inflammatories.
