With only days of Lent remaining, I got hit with a double whammy of temptation at work. First Demelza brought a chocolate-coated sponge cake in - she suggested, tongue in cheek, that I scrape the chocolate off and just eat the sponge bit. Then in revision class Richard produced a box of Bristol Cream liqueur chocolates - this time Nina recommended I leave the chocolate and suck the liqueur out.
I resisted both times, drawing astonished admiration from Bev and Demelza. Mel reckoned that next week I'd be down the shops buying up the half-price Easter eggs for a binge.
