A friend died - Joe Loy
Joe Loy, a friend from the local UU, was killed last night.

Joe and I used to make coffee on Sunday mornings. Well Joe usually made the coffee because I usually didn't get there before he did. He basically did it so that HE would have coffee. Last week was the last time he was going to make coffee because he was off the kid's duty shift for church. I hate that it really was his last time to make coffee. He also used to do the dishes after our hospitality break on Sunday mornings. I tried to take over doing the dishes but he said no, he would rather miss the morning service and this was a good excuse.
Joe was killed by a hit and run driver while filming another traffic accident in the Upstate. He will be missed by many, many folks.
