Plane Ticket Funtimes

Aug 14, 2010 03:15

So, after months of worrying about how I was going to buy $1000+ plane ticket before my financial aid would be available, I bought my round-trip ticket to Seoul. It turns out there's this handy thing called "Bill Me Later." I didn't think that I would be able to use such a service, since I'm kind of poor... but apparently I can. I don't know whether I should be happy or scared by this. At least I was able to order a plane ticket.

My itinerary looks like a whole lot of fun... and it goes something like this....

Depart Nashville at 7:30am Sat. Aug 28 - Arrive in New York/Newark at 10:34am (Flight time: 2 hours 4 minutes)
Layover 4 hours 41 minutes
Depart New York/Newark at 3:15pm - Arrive in Hong Kong at 7:05pm Sun. Aug. 29 (Flight time: 15 hours 50 minutes)
Layover 5 hours 5 minutes
Depart Hong Kong at 12:10am - Arrive in Seoul at 4:40am, Mon. Aug. 30
Travel time: 31 hours 10 minutes

Yay?

Now I just have to figure out how my airfare reimbursement will work with that "Bill Me Later" thing.

I pity the poor soul who has to pick me up from the airport at 5ish in the morning.

I've posted twice within the past 24 hours. *shock*
