Some of you may have noticed that I've become sort of addicted to drabbling lately ;) I've been writing several drabbles for
drabylon, which is a QaF/BJ drabble community.
But I've decided I want to post the drabbles here as well because I want to have all the stuff I've written in my own journal, and also because this will give those of you who aren't members of
drabylon a chance to read them as well (if you want to of course :)).
So here are six 100 and 200 words drabbles, all written during the last month and a half. Under each cut you will find the drabbles, plus the different prompt pictures.

Breaking the Rules
He stares into the air at nothing in particular, and all he can think about is blond hair between his fingers and blue eyes looking innocently into his own.
Fuck. He doesn’t do repeats. But it wasn’t like he had much choice. The kid is too persistant. And hot. If you’re into the boyish-innocent-high-school-sort-of-thing.
He hears muffled and sleepy sounds coming from the bedroom, and remembers similar sounds coming out of the same mouth late last night, when the boy was willing and eager underneath him. He grins.
It was fucking worth it.
Besides, rules are made to be broken.
Title: Mothers

Mothers
Sweaty and breathless they sank back into the pillows. Brian held Justin tightly and kissed his soft blond hair, while Justin snuggled up next to Brian, wanting to be as close as he could possibly be.
Nothing could be heard apart from the sounds of their heavy breathing.
“My mom told me she had lunch with Debbie at the diner today”, Justin said after a while, breaking the silence.
Brian shifted a little next to him, taking a few seconds before he said anything. “Should I be worried?”
“I’m not sure. Mom mentioned they made some plans for the wedding though.”
“Okay, I’m worried. Why do they think that our wedding is any of their business?”
“Mothers do that”, Justin said reasonably, leaving a kiss on Brian’s shoulder. Brian turned his head a little and they looked at each other for a moment, feeling a sense of togetherness that was new and special.
Brian let out a sigh. “Oh, what the hell. It’s our wedding day. Not even crazy mothers can ruin that.”
Justin smiled and hid his face in the crook of Brian’s neck, feeling at home there. Brian was right. It was going to be an amazing day.
Title: Contrasts
Prompt: Prompt #29 at
drabylonTimeline: Sometime after 513
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100 words
Contrasts
Looking at the picture of Justin and Daphne’s smiling faces brings it all back.
The shock, the pain, the desperation, the fear. The realization. That somehow, a 18-year-old high school student had become the most important thing in his life.
Memories. Of that night, and how he felt happier than he could ever remember.
Of how the world came crashing down on him.
He stares at the photo. Justin was so beautiful that night.
He puts the picture away when he feels arms closing around him from behind. Justin is okay. They are okay.
And the future is all theirs.
Title: Mother and Son
Prompt: Prompt #31 at
drabylonTimeline: Post 513 (but it sort of mentions the early seasons too)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 200 words
Mother and Son
Brian Kinney had never in his wildest dreams imagined himself one day having a mother-in-law.
But then Justin came along, and suddenly Brian had to handle a whole new kind of family: In-laws.
Craig’s existence was easy enough to ignore; the asshole never showed his face anywhere near him anyway. Molly, being her brother’s sister, practically worshipped the ground he walked on, and was actually kind of fun to be around.
And then there was Jennifer.
Jennifer, who once wanted nothing more than for him to stay far away from her little boy. Jennifer, who slowly grew to accept his place in Justin’s life.
Brian respected her more than anyone, and felt a sense of thankfulness towards her, for reasons that were difficult to explain.
After Justin went to New York, he sometimes took her out for lunch. They talked about the boy they both loved, and when she smiled her face reminded him of Justin’s.
And the day she gave him a long, warm hug and called him her son, a big lump formed in his throat as he hugged her back.
When Mother’s Day came, he sent her the biggest bunch of flowers he could get hold of.
Title: Under the Surface
Prompt: Prompt #32 at
drabylonTimeline: Sometime in season 1
Rating: PG
Word Count: 100 words
Under the Surface
Justin Taylor was head over heels in love with Brian Kinney.
That was no secret. Everybody knew it, and if they hadn’t known, Justin’s silly smile whenever Brian was around would have given him away.
They found Justin’s crush cute, but they looked at him with pity, because they knew the day would come when Justin would have to realize that Brian could never be his.
Because Brian doesn’t do boyfriends. And he certainly doesn’t do love.
But maybe if they’d looked a little closer, they would’ve seen what appeared under the surface.
That Brian Kinney loved Justin Taylor back.
Title: The Little Things
Prompt: Prompt #33 at
drabylonTimeline: Sometime in s4
Rating: PG
Word Count: 200 words
Warnings: A little angsty
The Little Things
Justin loved wearing Brian’s clothes. And he knew that Brian loved seeing him wear them.
When Brian was weak after radiation therapy, and exhausted after trying to hide how sick he really felt, Justin did everything he could think of to cheer him up.
So one night he put on one of Brian’s favorite white t-shirts, and was rewarded with a weak smile.
“You’re wearing my shirt”, Brian stated, his voice only a whisper.
“I am”, Justin confirmed quietly and kissed Brian softly, their lips barely touching.
“You look hot”, Brian whispered, and Justin felt Brian take his hand, entwining their fingers, knowing it was all Brian could do for now.
After that Brian could no longer keep his eyes open.
Justin knew he was the last thing Brian saw, and felt, before he fell asleep. Maybe it would be enough to chase Brian’s nightmares away, if only for one night.
He made himself comfortable next to Brian, and pulled the covers around them. And with his arms around the man he loved, he fell asleep too.
The next morning Brian looked rested for the first time in weeks, and Justin thought he had never seen a more wonderful sight.
