ESPN for 5+ hours

Yes I watched ESPN for 5+ hours yesterday and it was glorious. You may be thinking what the heck happened, did you fall asleep? What would you watch on ESPN that would hold your attention for 5 hours.

Yesterday was the second day of the Breeder's Cup one of the most important set of races in the American horse racing world and in Europe. The big race the Breeder's Cup Classic is the last race to be run. The coverage started around noon and went till a little before 6. I sadly missed the big race, but was in time to see the replays. :) I watched conventional races of colts and fillies. I also cheered through turf races. It was so much fun to have all the covereage of all the horses and have races stacked one after another about an hour apart.

Mike kept rolling his eyes whenever he passed me glued to the big screen TV. He commented that any other sport I have no reason to watch for hours but horseracing has me glued to the screen. What can I say, I like to watch racing.

This was my first Breeder's Cup. I knew it existed but I have never caught the timing right to watch it. I love watching the triple crown and have many times taped the Sat. races so I can watch them later. It was a tradition for Mom and I to watch the races together. Now I have found a new set of races to watch. :)
