Filly Won!!
Well it is the first time in 102 years that a filly has won the Belmont!!!!
This has been an exciting Triple Crown year. First Street Sense won the derby and made history he is the first colt to win the Breeders Cup Juvenile and then go on to win the Derby. In the preakness curling beat Street Sense by a nose in a photo finish. Now the filly Rags to Riches won the Belmont against all the boys!! This was also the first triple crown race her trainer, Fletcher, has won. It has been such a race.
phew it is sad the triple crown is finished and there is not a triple crown winner this year but there were some awesome races!
