ginger cake and games

in other news we bought a vegan ginger cake today for robs birthday, his birthday was yesterday but due to some stuff at work (he went to see a movie with cowerkers and it got out really late) he had to spend thursday night at work, and then left work at 5 am to come home, and on friday (his b day) he felt like he was coming down witha c old and worked from home, due to all of that we are celibrating today and also takiing it really easy not seeing anyone and eating ginger cake and we rented movies, he has been playing video games but overall we are having a good day. he even let me get him presents! 3 t-shirts, which he desperatly needed, i had planned on buying him 7 shirts but he nixed that idea saying he can get them cheaper at buffalo exchange. rob hates getting new clothes but often the used clotehs he buys wear out in a very short amount of time so i am hoping the new shirts last longer.

the game he is playing right now is the newest prince of persia for ps2 he has also been playing haunting grounds (which is really scary) and some martian game called all humans must die, which looked really funny in the store but turns out it is just mean, in fact i think rob may exchange it for a better game soon, i guess we should have known it would be mean by the name but thephotos make it look funny, i have been playing harvest moon magical melody which is a lot more fun than the other harvest moon game i have, i forget the name of that but this one is more open ended and i like open ended games. i have also been playing animal crossings and super princess peach and polarium
for a long time i did not buy any game related stuff because as a child i would get very very addicted to video games, but now is eem to actually have pretty healthy game playing behavior. i play a few times a day for between 10 and 20 minutes i probably rarly play for more than an hour in a day and i probably only play games every other day or so. i think it is cool that i can have fun games around and not get totally sucked into them. although it may just be that i havn't found a game that is fun enough yet ...
