I feel special. I got my very own Note from the universe
The reason you're "here"
is not to be good, to be better, to be perfect, to get "stuff" done, to
save the world, to save somebody, to prove something, or to be anything...
other than yourself.
That's all you have to work on. That's all you can do. But by doing it...
all those other things will happen anyway.
And since that one made me smile I asked for another:
Isn't it a hoot?
Of all the people in all the world who actually "get it", few, if any,
actually give it to themselves.
The trick? Baby steps.
Give, just a little, today. Give credit, give praise, give goodies, to yourself, and the Universe willgive you even more.
Selfishness is a virtue, unless you think it must come at the expense of others. And why would anyone think that? Oh yeah, that's what all the people who
don't get it told you.
