there is a hole in my backyard
OK, so, you may or may not know this, but we had a smallish pool in my backyard. Mom never liked the pool because it was so much work and noone really used it. This is because it's too small to do anything other than float in.
So, she and dad decided to sell the pool on ebay. What's that you say? sell the pool on ebay? It can't be done! On the contrary. They had sold it in five days to a family in Kentucky.

So, the kentuckians came up this weekend and took the pool... literally took the pool apart stuck it on a trailer and left. Quite ammusing, i think. But now we have a large hole in our backyard. Mom wants to make it into a patio thing with a picnic table and all that jazz. I think that could be cool.

Unfortunately, I may have found a problem with her idea for a patio in the hole. Last night we had one hell of a storm (power was out from about seven till around midnight) and we now have a pool again. The hole has filled up with water... well, not completely, but pretty far. oh well, i suppose if its just rocks in the hole, a bit of water won't do any damage.
