'Mmmmm,' she sighed happily.
'Don't get too comfortable,' Charlie warned.
'Why not?'
He leaned over to kiss her temple. 'Moonette's party.'
'Oh.'
'It'll be fun. She promised, remember? No flangst.'
Girlyswot grinned happily. 'I remember. Although we'll have to be careful.'
'Careful?'
She rolled over to face him. 'Yes. You remember that time you came to visit me and started behaving so strangely?'

Charlie stroked her cheek. 'That's fine with me.'
'Charlie?'
'Hmmm?'
'We don't have to be at the party for a while, do we?'

He shrugged, shoulders shaking with silent laughter.
'Maybe she'll bring Jamie Fraser,' she fantasized. 'Or Niall, or...'
'Hagrid?' suggested Charlie, hiding behind a pillow.
Girlyswot rolled her eyes, but she was laughing too. 'Oh, very well then. Get dressed.'
'We should probably have a shower first,' he pointed out.

TDU groaned as she heard the unmistakable sound of the shower. It could be hours before they got out of there (*Oh for a world without water restrictions!*). She gave in and returned to the party. "I have excellent news for you," said Young(ish) Albus. "The wine is now all at a palatable temperature. What would you care to try first?"
"Merlot," replied an exasperated TDU, as she collapsed into one of Moonette's comfortable sofas. "I did my best to get them here but they reall do have one-track minds."
