i loved the idea, but i had a hard time following it. maybe that's just me though?

I LOVED THIS. Oh, god you have no idea how much I needed this fic after the day I've had. The plot was perfect - I'm always holding out for the day those four finally decide to show their commitment to Glee (and, you know, sing!) and the idea of them banding together to do it just thrills me. And the songs you picked for each of them were PERFECT! They were all perfectly in character, especially Brittany's! I had no trouble picturing her singing that as I was reading.
