XMas miracles vs. XMas Eve miracles
The eve miracles come with a set of... complications.
My first 'miracle' was the previously mentioned A+ in syntax.
Then shortly before eleven, the mail came in... including my pay from the elections. At that point, I was on a big ol' clock. Had to get to the bank before it closed so I could deposit the money, then run to the store where the camera I wanted was on sale, and the sale ended yesterday, so... Off I went, and I got it! :D The complications here was that there was a lot of snow, and not the nice powdery kind, but the slip and slide kind, which made walking veeery difficult, so of course I had to walk a LOT.
After I left the store, I remembered (with the tiredness of all this walking I'd been doing) I forgot to pick up this gold paint pen thing I needed, so I had to get off on the way back and go into the mall (yep, on xmas eve)...
Rest of the day was pretty good. We watched White Christmas, had dinner, started opening presents while watching It's a Wonderful Life.
