well ladies and gentlemen
well guess what? i am returning to FIT in NYC next semester instead of continuing here in italy. don't get me wrong, italy is amazing. the beautiful art you only read about in book, the great culture you only experiance if you live here, and the gorgeous architecture that has so much history in it. i love traveling here. i have finally figured out the train system, much to my amazement, and it works out pretty well. i've already been to milano, como, venezia, perugia, and pisa. our next stop...rome for three days. i am so incredibly excited. ugh i just know its going to be amazing.
as for my leaving. the school is horendous. everyone hates it. we might as well be studying in south dakota. we have no time for anything, which i suppose is normal for a college student. but this is ridiculous. we are expected to find and research so much and everything is out of our reach here. they told us they would be understanding because we are in a different country, but that was a lie to get us to come here. we put in so much work, and no matter how hard we work, its still the same grade, and the same response. the teachers are horrible. they are just critical, which is fine, but its gotten to the point where no one knows what to do.
anyways, we went to the international chocolate festival in perugia on friday. it was amazing. the amount of people and the amount of choclate vendors. it was so much fun. the town was situated on the mountainside and you could see miles of umbrian countryside.
i hope that tinas 20th birthday in canada was crazy. i hope you all drank one for me!! i cant wait to come home!!! mwa
