Last month my mom had emergency brain surgery. This past week they told her that she had stage IV cancer...which has proven that her doctors are both liars and failures. My mom is just a science experiment for them. Her oncologist straight up told me that everything they're going to try from now on is just to "help ease the death process." I can't even begin to explain how I feel.
And then the other day I was repeatedly told by his mother that I ruined my friendship with the guy by trying to make him my boyfriend. I didn't realize that I was trying to MAKE him do anything. Though if that means that I am the one responsible for ruining whatever was going on, then I guess we're all better off now. The next day she came over to suggest I hang out with him because it might help to cheer me up with all that's going on... Then what? He'll go back to ignoring me or brush me off for a while?
But lately a lot of people who I've had some kind of conflict with have decided to unleash their frustrations with me knowing what all is going on with my mom. It's like now that they know I'm at that low point, it's like it makes them feel better to try to knock me down even lower. Though honestly after realizing that, I'm kind of amused by it. In fact, it's almost like a compliment.
