The waters have receded!
Jeebus, so far this has been a trying winter for weather! At this rate we'll be having dumpings of snow that shut the city down (ok, so it doesn't exactly take a "dumping" to do that here) before the season is over. The domicile is parked on what used to be a mobile home pad, essentially a rectangular pit below the level of the yard. I came home Monday night to find a good 10" of standing water, with various rubbermaid rafts / containers of stuff making their way around as they pleased. It's taken three days but it's finally gone, sheesh!
I guess I shouldn't complain too much, what really boggles my mind is how Interstate 5 can still be closed somewhere around MP67 for three days!
