Becoming Human
Don't know if you have been watching Being Human on BBC3 on Sunday nights, but I have and it’s been a really good series so far.
But what has really grabbed my attention is the online splinter series Becoming Human, each week they release a 6 minute episode that follows the story of Adam, Christa and Matt as they try and find out who murdered Matt?
Ok, so let’s give you a small brief on the characters.
Adam: a 40+ year old Vampire trapped in an ageless body of an endlessly horny 17 year old. He hasn't grown up in both his mind and attitude but he is getting there slowly.
His main problems is the fact he has had to keep up with the teenage scene for the last 30 years and as a result gets caught out using culture references that were about 10 years ago or fads that dies out in the 90's.
Additionally up until recently he hasn't been in the real world as such because his parents (now deceased) managed to hide him and what he was from the world quite successfully. So he is getting to grips with real life for the first time.
Christa: Serious Goth girl who doesn't want to get to know anyone and is quite down to earth considering the company she keeps. She is a werewolf but as of yet has not said how it happened or even really admitted what she is.
Matt: A large lad who was unfortunately murdered while in the bathroom of the School Gym.
Drowned in the soiled water of a broken toilet bowl...yeahh...not a pleasant way to go.
Has a huge crush on Christa.
There are many things to notice and spot in each of the episodes (4 so far) as well as additional blog spots on the website.
Its worth checking out if you are into "Who dunnit?" murders as its well written and well acted by the quite young cast.
