Kitchen-ly Organization

The process (and it's one large, intimidating process, at that) to reorganize my kitchen is underway! My steel, two-tier, lazy-susan (special thanks to my older sister's gift card birthday present - yes, I KNOW that was MONTHS ago) arrived today, and was promptly assembled and put into use, allowing me to organize my spice cabinet (mostly). Jar'd spices (that fit) are situated around the ring, allowing for easy review and access as needed. Baking goods were organized on the lower shelves, and the larger items, such as the tall glass olive oil or worcestershire bottles, were moved to the top shelf. A few last-minute items were placed in a little clear plastic caddy that is attached to the inside of the door. (I may consider a second (and third!) one of these in the future.)
In addition to reorganizing my spice cabinet, which is now a single cabinet just above and to the side of my stove, I also managed to move some of my nice glasses (which never see use) from their high storage space in my "pantry" cupboard, into their own cupboard near the "back" (if there is such a thing) of my kitchen. Funnily enough, they don't all fit! (See, I need a china cabinet! Or some sort of nice display case in my kitchen.)
I also moved my charger plates (all four pairs of them) into a cupboard below the counter. They now share a place with my nice silverware and my unused bread maker. (It was really the only place they fit nicely. Some of them, like my ceramic ones, are HUGE!) With some patience, the whole kitchen will be reorganized, and everything will have a place, and everything will be in it's place. (And Clint won't mind unloading the dishwasher, because he will know where everything goes!)
