Just in time for the holiday season, Anne Azel's A Little Book of Big Christmas Tales is now available. A collection of stories set on or around Christmas fills this book. Anne began a tradition of sending at least one holiday short story to the Canadian Lesbian Fiction Addicts email list each year. Many of those are included in this collection, to be enjoyed by all.
Each story is uniquely Anne - creative, touching, and staying with the reader long after the pages are turned.
To name a few, the collection includes the tale of Charlie, a street thug; continuing with Penny, a First Nations “token” employee; Paula, a woman determined to get home to her newborn baby’s first Christmas. Anne also includes a story of her popular characters, Robbie and Janet!
All the stories within this collection contain the variety and diversity found in Canadian women. All are touched by the power of family and traditions, both young and old, during the season of Christmas.
