Green Monday: It sure isn’t easy being green
My hands hurt, my shoulders ache, but I am one step closer to my summertime goal…
Been cleaning the garage all day so I finally have my workshop space and preparing the two garden boxes I build a couple years ago. I got some organic topsoil from Growing Power, and am mixing it with compost and worm castings for the first box. It’s a slow process. Still fighting the battle of the garlic mustard (the non chemical way) this year, but unlike last year I’ll at least have a garden. I’m tired but at least it was a productive day. Gonna finish box two and the sugar snap pea rows if I can tomorrow. Next project is weed barrier over another area so I can build more boxes when I have the cash.
