Query Letter Advice
This week on The League of Reluctant Adults they are blogging about what to do and what not to do when writing a query letter. Today
antonstrout wrote the article "Queries are queer". No, this is not about glbt identity in literary correspondence, but queer as in odd, hard to understand, makes us want to pull our hair when we have to write one sort of queer.
One of the best quotes from the article is "While writing is an art, it's also a business, and if you plan on selling your work, treat it as the latter.". Rock on! I think if people can remember that they are already a step up on a lot of folks. Go yon writers to read this wonderful piece, and make plans to return all week. I bet ya'll be glad you did.
