Okay, I was going to get some writing done, but…well…it seems I have something else to say. Now this my own ramble so you are free to come and listen or ignore it, I don’t mind either way. I have to get this out so I can go back to writing. As per usual I’m not adding links, because I am not asking anyone go yell at anyone else, just processing ( Read more... )

Despite my intense dislike of trains (one went past me the other night and it had a BIG ORANGE DEVIL SMILEY-FACE PAINTED ON THE CABOOSE, HOMG I NEARLY DROVE OFF THE ROAD IN TERROR) I really like this metaphor!

I should imagine it like in The Colour Purple. Those people running wistfully after the train, looking longingly at us but too afraid to get on board, should at least get some goldfoil-covered chocolate coins. *g*

If it makes you feel better you can sit by me :)

I LOVE the Color Purple reference...that's JUST how I see it. Maybe we need to give the people in the train cars pretty chocolates to throw to get people so understand we're aren't so mean and scary. *wink*

This is probably a moment of derailment, but...

Holy shit, that's scary. If you don't want to do anything with that image, may I use it for something?

I don't think it's derailment. Although I might have been happy if that train derailed itself. *g*

Please, use the image with my blessing! I'm glad some good could come of it, heh.

I don't think you're close to the back of the train. By writing this, you are pretty close to being the engineer. Or at least the person who gets to blow the horn! (Whistle, whatever!)
