Soooo tired.

For almost forty eight hours my daughters (age 6) temp has bounced between 101.5 to 104.9 and she is pretty miserable. I’ve gotten very little sleep in the process since she seems to rest better in my bed. The old-time remedy was an icepack on the head, and (if you can get your daughter to put up with it), a cold-cloth collar (again, ice if she can stand it) around her neck, to cool the blood to the brain.

The extreme remedy was a cold-water bath, but the shock of that might be just as bad.

Will send good energy, I don't care who finds that corny. Hope you can get some sleep.

She barely puts up with the fever meds, so not thinking the ice will go over well. Luke warm baths as long as mommy is in the with her are the best compromise.
