Home Again, Home Again
Our trip was successful! As in we made it to and from in one piece, ate good food, sat in a hot hot tub, drank copious amounts of booze (maybe a little exaggerated) and slept in oh so comfy beds with oh so comfy pillows!
However, we also had to walk in at least three blocks in the freezing cold and mini-blizzard that left no trace of its existence the next day to get to the party!
It was so worth it!
My dad was tickled pink to have the monkey for the night and he was an angel! -->I always have this fear that when I leave him with someone else that he's going to be a total brat, even when I just leave him with his dad... but I'm not nearly as scared that he's going to choke of hurt himself or something... *sigh* I'm the wrong kind of paranoid.
Steve's bosses loaded Selina's car up with books for the trip home. That was fun! It was a little cozier on the way home, which suited me fine cause I slept the whole way and Robert talked to himself.
We got home at a decent hour today though. We stopped in at dad's for about an hour and yakked then stopped for brekkie at the Big Stop. Yum! Trucker foodstuffs! We got some minor cleaning done then ran away again for the staff party here! There is a special place in hell for Steve and Chris... Tony might even join them! LOL
And now I'm tired again... bed time! Tomorrow... shopping, dinner and last dance class! :( I don't want it to end!!!
