there is nothing like standing beneath such a brilliant band and letting their music surround you. they make me feel balanced, like i somehow understand a thing or two about the world. or maybe like that doesn't matter at all.

and then sleepily wrapping yourself and lindsay in a blanket at 4 am and laughing yourselves to sleep, words becoming cuter and smaller and more unintelligible, until closing your eyes midsentence.
