Yesterday was a good day. A very good day. I got up at 8, but that’s alright. Yarr.  I showered and threw on some clothes and mom and I went to Meagen’s house for the last graduation meeting. We went over a few things, smoothing out the last kinks, and Saturday is set and ready to go. I’m rather excited. It’ll be nice when graduation is over however.

So after the meeting the four of us girls went and took pictures in the fields behind Meagen’s house. We piled on top of Anna’s car a few times and that was fun. The pictures are /awesome/. We’re such goofballs.

I really love the group though. The four of us are so different. Meagen is a North Carolina cowgirl who loves horses and stuff. Best described by me as a rather stylish country girl. Loads of fun. Anna played soccer with me. She’s an American who’s never lived in the states… everywhere else though! She’s super pretty and I did senior pics with her. Amazing athlete. Quiet at first but hilarious when you get to know her. She’s very talented as well, being the only one among us with the gift of music. She’ll be playing guitar and violin for graduation. Casey is the newest one in the group and the oldest. Just moved from New Mexico, first time moving anywhere and she came to Germany! We’re teaching her a lot. She’s the big LOTR fan and the most homeschool-ish one of us, but that’s alright. I’m known as the crazy boy magnet of the group. >.> I get that reputation a lot. But that’s our group and we’re awesome. Each of us is distinctly different from the others and we all have different interests but at the same time we have such a special group… For only hanging out a few times we’re all pretty close and have so much fun together.

Yesterday was no exception, because after the pictures we all piled into Anna’s old, white, and beat-up BMW (we dubbed him Whitey Tighty yesterday) and headed to downtown Kaiserslautern. We then shopped all afternoon. It was so much fun! They took me to H&M since I hadn’t been there yet. Wonderful store. Kind of like a Gap, but the clothes didn’t have brand names plastered all over them and they were /not/ expensive. We all got matching gangster hats. XD Mine is brown. In fact… all but two things I bought were some shade of brown or off-white. I can’t help it. I like brown and I can pull it off, so I wear a lot of brown. It was fun. I’m glad I didn’t splurge in Italy and saved my money for today instead.

When we got home I put on some new clothes (couldn’t resist) and went to youth group. I hadn’t been to church since last last Sunday and it was good to be with all those people again. It will be nice when graduation is over and relatives are gone… though I’m really going to miss my grandpa. I don’t see him often enough. I think he’s enjoying Germany though. :}

So then… I don’t have much else to update on yesterday. Friday David and I are going to prom. I’ll try and get pictures. =P We talked about it and decided it’s not going to be set aside as a special night though. We agreed we both want to go out and have a special evening together but prom isn’t going to work like that. It’s rough when they scheduled it at the base near me and not the army one where all these kids go to school… I can’t figure that one out. So David and everyone else are taking a bus over here and I’ll meet him there since… it’s ten minutes from my house and about forty-five (by bus) from his school. Because of the bus no one else was driving so he couldn’t get a ride for us and all kinds of little things. And since he had so much going on last week there was no way he could have planned anything out for Friday either. But it’s no problem. Prom, in my mind, isn’t really the most romantic of evenings. It’s a lot of fun, yes, but a different kind of fun. There are going to be loads of people there and I’ll meet a lot more of David’s friends and things. We’re going to hang out with his friend Rachel and probably Rebekah if she’s coming. But yes, it will be a good time. It is nice to know however that David wants to take me out for a nice evening with just he and I sometime though. :}

Saturday I wear the dress again. The one I’ll wear to prom. This time it will be for graduation though. Hoo yes, the big day. I’m excited. Amber is graduating at a castle in Germany on June 3rd and she doesn’t have to wear one of those silly caps and gowns! I’ll… try to get pictures from that too I suppose… Just because. Yep.

Anyway then, I’m off to finish my last graduation project.
