Finished The Lovely Bones - good book, different. Out of my usual genre.
if anyone likes detective historical novels - i recommend The Alienst by C. Carr. this book was similar and yet not. it was so sad, but i always find it intensively interesting to see what people's visions of heaven would be. sometimes you wish that could be your heaven and yet i know it won't be.
